About

My name is Tristan Forrest, known by the moniker Skremzy. I am a musician/composer/producer of ambient, experimental, and electronic dance music. I graduated from the Langara Digital Music Production program in Vancouver, BC in 2024, and have a background in piano and church worship leading. I also played for concert and jazz bands in high school on the trumpet.

My music is defined by it's nostalgic melodies and atmospheres, with an experimental edge in the production. I have released numerous records on streaming platforms, most of which being full albums and EP's. 

I  also composed music for the game Perilous Quest by Newave Media, and am looking for more game and film soundtrack opportunities. 

In 2020, fellow artist friends Audiophobia, Newave Oceans and I started the online label/collective Phoenix Artistrys, a community built on the foundation of giving smaller artists more acknowledgement for their work. Phoenix Artistrys releases music from across the electronic and cinematic musical spectrum.
